The safety and well-being of our customers and our staff, is our utmost priority at Ichiba food hall and online marketplace.
We're continuing to follow official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully to ensure a safe in-store and online shopping environment for all our customers.
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented the following measures:
Staff Health: All team members including delivery drivers complete health questionnaires and checks prior to beginning work & wear PPE as required.
Social Distance in Stores: While shopping in store or collecting online orders please keep a 2 metre distance between yourself and other shoppers.
One Way System: To help you and our staff move around the store safely we have introduced a one way system. Please follow the directional signage.
Cashier Screens: We have installed screens to help protect our staff and customers.
Payments: When shopping in-store, contactless payment is preferred but we will accept cash.
Face Coverings: Customers must wear a face mask/covering when shopping in our store or collecting an online order. They can be taken off when eating in.
Cleaning Stations: Please use the antibacterial gel on entry to the store to help protect others.
Customer Numbers: At busy times, we might limit the number of customers into the store to help maintain a safe shopping environment.
Condiments & Cutlery: Condiments and cutlery will be given out with your meal to help reduce infection
Extra Cleaning: While continuing to maintain high standards of food safety, the store team have increased hand washing, basket wipe downs and the provision of PPE including gloves and masks as well as regular cleaning of PDQ machines and customer touch points.
Social Distanced Delivery: Our drivers will maintain a 2 metre distance from customers at all times.
